SUPREME COURT SUPPORTS IMMIGRATION LAW (1725 hits)

YOUR NATIONAL NEWS
JUNE 2012
25TH DAY

The courts today approved that the State of Arizona so called "Show me your papers" law is not considered against the law. As showing proof of legality can be requested empowers police to enforce the law from it's Hispanic or Mexican civilian without breaking any civil laws. In addition, Jan Brewer insisted that such a law was needed in order curb the access of many illegal aliens entering in through the State of Arizona. On other issues, the courts made it clear that the state cannot consider those questioned or arrested with witheld as with an alleged crime to be in the United States. As far as deportation involved, any persons who cannot show proof can be only be deported with the federal branches of the law. Many Latinos and Mexicans are weary that they may become subjected to police harassment and are weary that the law may bring about racial profiling of it's Hispanic communites in Arizona.

A very touchy situation...
And places many in an uncomfortable outlook at immigration laws.

Hello Ms. Bride,

Since we are going to become sovereign free in a country of our own it would behoove you to question yourself about how we will set up our own immigration policies since we will welcome a limited amount of immigrants into our country.

@IR I feel equally concerned that the law will allow harassment from local police, it's evident they have permission to carry it out. I hope there are enough honest officers that will not abuse the law and promote racial overtones to ignite in trouble. Thanks for the connection, I'll give it a look and read. [Smiles]

@Harry Thank you for your comment, and your optimistic look at our own immigration.

That's food for thought IR...you've addressed very this diplomatically. Often diplomatic processes are often never much beheld in the eyes of the beholder.
I'm sure you're caught my drift...

Yep, Sister Irma 'racial profiling' is now legalized. I'm interested in knowing the reasons the police would ask people who aren't breaking any traffic violations or who aren't breaking any law for papers.... how would they go about it?

@ Sister Irma,

So basically if you look Latina/Latino/Mexican then you get asked to show your papers? What a really hostile and violent atmosphere in the making; Latino and Mexican people will not feel safe to be on the streets now and indirectly this law is what will force them out. If I were any undocumented person, I'd be moving from there ASAP!

@MIISRAEL, THE only problem with this is it leaves teh police in Arizona wide open for violating racial profiling as well a hate crimes charges along with as many criminal charges taht the ACLU, National naacp can creatively come up with...because...

they have not provided a "Critira" for giving them teh rights to even ask for these papers please. nup/smile)

@Bride, lets try this , this way...

Jews have accent and dress differently...what % of Jews would be help to find out if they were here illegally?...This is way Homeland security and Ice refuses to help Ariz. violate many, many, many laws even serching with a warrent, invasion of privacy, false arrest, kidnapping (as O.J. Simpson learened the hard way that kidnapping can be as simple as causing a person to move some place they don't want to be), violating the 5th amendment, 1st amendment...

VIOLATING HUMAN AND CIVIL RIGHTS IS A DOOZY. (SMILE)

Jim Crow says we ca single out a group of people and treat them differently, but our Constutition (in many Amendments) say it is illegal to do so. (smile)

Plus Bride, I am equally concerned for these policeman. As usual it is going to be them facing possible civil and criminal law suits more so than the governor who wil have highpowered attorneys defending her...

teh police can be charged for not carrying out these orders and charged for carring these orders out...tis is a mess n matter how one looks at...

Me, I will just stick with this state is in a panic because it is no longer white majority ( banning Ethnic study)and survival by any means necessay is natural. (smile)

...oops, I mentioned Jews because they are also a little darker in skin color and so far the only criteria the police have for carrying out these orders is darker skin color, accent and dress.(smile)

IT IS ILLEGAL TO PICK OUT A SINGLE GROUP O F PEOPLES AND TREATE THEM DIFFERENTLY AS IN DISCRIMINATION IS ILLEGAL IN ALL 50 STATES AND AMERICAN TERRITORYS, P-E-R-I-O-D-!!! (S-M-I-L-E)

(rotfl) because Jen, they have about as much right today to question as they did to question Rosa Parks in the last century since BVBOE aka "seprate is not equal' in America became the law of the land in the 50s...(smile)
