Person Wants to Know Why Do Black People Have So Many Kids by Different People (ppl) ? (8871 hits)
I read this on the net last night and decided to see if anyone would know the answer to this guy's question....

My husband came home today and told me his barber who is black has 8 kids by 5 different women and he pays them all $ but not child support they just call him and say I need some $ for this or that or he'll put gas in their car or get their hair did.
I understand poor minorities are at risk for unprotected s*x and illegitimate kids but even Lil Wayne has 4 kids by 4 women. Why is this? He's rich and famous he's got to know these sluts want to have his babies and get famous and get $.. So why not use a c*ndom or whatever?
Do black men LIKE to have many kids by many women? Is it a social thing I just haven't caught on to? Would really like some insight from some black men and women on why this is. And don't start hollering at me about black and white because I don't know a single white man (personally, or a famous one off the top of my head) who has 4+ kids by different women.
How often do women become pregnant by an inexperienced lover? The hoochie-coochie man is famous for knowing the female's weaknesses.

@ Sister Helen, But is that really an excuse... there are so many products on the market that can prevent pregnancy.
I've been asking around and I've not really got a sufficient answer. Two ladiesI asked said perhaps the ppl thought that things would work out, but didn't. Why make the same error unless perhaps having kids with different ppl is seen as social norm or alright since everybody does it?
I had a young Black guy who I knew through a multilevelmaketing company ask me to have his baby while talking on the phone one day. When I said no, he asked me why not. So maybe its the norm for some Black ppl. Even Jamaicains do the same thing... Bob Marley (God rest his soul) had 18 or 19 kids by so many different 'woman'
My own mom had me, my brother, and sister by 3 different baby daddies. My sister has five kids with four baby daddies. I saw these things growing up but didn't begin to question it until I was reading about the Dude in Lockdown with all the 30 (they say 24) kids (who knows the true number) with eleven baby mamas. I called my young female cousin, I spoke with some colleagues, I spoke with two of my uncles, but haven't dared call my mom to ask her! ((LOL))
With the use of psychology you have to go back into the past to find the answers. I would think that because it served the plantation owners purpose to increase his stock. He used the assembly line method to produce the best workers. This might account for the excessive s*xual appetite of most Black males.

The thing about it is if Slavery is the culprit for this behavior ... what can be done to rid ourselves of it (having kids with different ppl?
Thanks for the history lesson and the background on the reason we can have so much kids, but why are people sprinkling their seed on all these lawns and pollenating flowers without any ambition to raise a child? It's disgusting and wicked!! The guy in the clip is telling the truth when he says that children need both a father figure and mother figure so they can experience the family structure. Also he says, Women can't be gettin' knocked up by every raggamuffin on the street. Folk have to be responsible and stop and think why they want kids before hand. The saddest thing for a child to experience is growing up without knowing their father... trust me... I know. It's not good.
Also ... I'd like to add that for minorities... the welfare system has contributed to the problem of kids growing up without their fathers and ppl having kids with different ppl.
Totally baffles me. I know that with all the HollyWood celebrities and entertainers... it also further contributes to this ... Black ppl having kids with diff ppl. Society says it's a cultural norm and its okay, but is it really?

Not totally ... it depends on the income of the family as they may still qualify for some assistance. It's sad. Indeed sad anyway you look at it. I think htese people should go into agriculture so that they can give back by raising crops for the Americans that have paid for them. What do you thinK?
Now that's a thougth. I wonder how we can make that happen? I know some lawyer will call them up to represent them to bring suit against the govt. for infringing upon their Women's right of choice... to be single. ((Lol)) That is one of the problems with America... too many Rights!
Even if the roots of this problem go back to slavery, how come Black people from the 19th and early 20th century did not do these things? My parents were married in 1955 had my brother and me and stayed married to each other for 40 years. I would say the majority of my family going back to the 1800s got married and only had children by their spouses. My paternal grandfather was married twice but his 1st wife died. This baby mama and baby daddy thing mostly started in the late 1980s.
Mick Jaggar of the Rolling Stones has a lot of Baby Mamas but then again he's a multi millionaire.
