Planets Venus and Jupiter will be align beginning a conjunction beginning March 12th and making the night sky more beautiful. This conjuction of the two planets happens every 13 months and experts say they will be in complete conjuction on March 15, 2012. The two planets will be visible to viewers in the Northern Hemisphere and at mid-northn latitudes on Thursday the pair should will truly shine. Those in the western horizon should see the bright blaze about 4 hours after sunset. Jupiter being the larger planet is about 11 wider than the smaller more Earth-size Venus, but Venus shines much more brighter because Venus is closer to Earth than Jupiter. After the alignment is over Venus and Jupiter will part away in a different part of the sky. You may be able to catch Venus in a few months around June 5th, 2012 making a cross by the face of the sun according Earth's perspective which will appear as a tiny black dot against the face of our star. This occurance happens fewer than two times per century, on average. The next occurance of Venus will take place in 2117.
