We all have known the Black women are the backbone of the earth. We have over the years managed to be mothers, doctors, lawyers, teachers, stay at home mom's, domestic workers and yet still maintain our households with or without a man present. We have been the CEO's of our home when you think about it. Many women of other nationalities envy our beauty, brilliance and creativity.
I started this online group Black Women Empowered https://www.facebook.com/#!/groups/Blackwo... Because I know that even though we know that we are strong brilliant and beautiful, the need to support each other has never been greater than it is today in this economy. We are loosing jobs and having to re-event outselves. No better network than networking with women who know your struggle, feel your pain and support your services and gifts.
The other beautiful thing about Black Women Empowered is that not only are we supporting each other but we realize that our blessings come from giving, so we are committed to giving back to the communities that we live and work in.
The group is comprised of women from the US and Africa who network on a daily basis.
