Hey I'm glad you found the information useful, because I've been trying to highlight my profession here so that people can perhaps think of going into a career as a Registered Nurse. It's been my ticket out of poverty for sure especially since the rate of pay isn't bad and there's LOTS of Overtime to be made.
ManE, I'm cold chillin' and not illin' on my new nursing job in IT. Yep nursing is very versatile, but most people think of us at the bedside Only. Oh well, for me my new gig beats that shift work I was doing, although I still pick up shifts for bedside nursing, but its totally voluntary now. My ex colleagues are hatin' like crazy, because they see me wearing my everyday clothes and not scrubs wishin' they had applied instead of me. I see my old boss and smile and greet her. She looks like she feel so small when I greet her. She thought she was big when she was my mgr, but look at her now! Don't mess with a Free Black Woman, eh! ((Lol))
