A French luxury liner cruise turned memories into de'javu when an accident of the huge ship ran around causing it to topsize. Details of how the accident happened are still pending, but it's speculated of hitting a large reef. At least 3 persons are known killed and as many as 50 persons were still trapped on board at the time of the report. The ship, The Costa Concordia was leaving shore sailing across the Mediterranean Sea from Civitavecchia when the accident occured. Sources stated the accident happened around 10:28 Italy's time. While most passengers were dining, suddenly dishes fell and a loud sound echoed over the ship creating a panic. With quick action the Captian notified the emergency rescue team in Tuscan port of Livorno, and steered the ship closer toward shallow waters. At least 4,200 passengers were aboard. The ship is being aided by the Coast Guard and evacuees by helicopter have been air-lifted to safety. Many were spared and there may be others with minor injuries. One of the passengers on board, a journalist said:

Well we know that none of those were the CAPTAIN of the Boat cause he bailed before EVRYBODY! ((Lol)) I hope he gets his Captain's License revolked!!!!
This was a first report, so thanks for the update. It's no wonder he acted quickly, seemed it was if it was to save himself before thinking of his crew and passengers...I'm not surprised. He's definitely not a total hero.
He'd better watch out for you...you're tough! LOL!
Jen a lot more has developed with investigations of this story. There seem to be some caution of fuel leaks making it an even greater disater, and there are still people missing from the ship. I must commend the divers, they are working hard to find everyone dead or alive. Things are unraveling to find clues to define exatly what happened.
