Let us bid farewell to 2011 together shall we? (314 hits)

How about joining me in prayer? Lord Jesus we just give you the year that has passed us by. Lord we want to praise you for everything that happened. We want to praise you for the blessings that you brought into our lives. Most especially Lord Jesus we want to praise you for the tough and challenging times. Through each situation that put pressure on my flesh, I discovered something new about your love and grace.

With each rejection and struggle that I faced, it forced me to come running into your arms as a little child. With each problem that I faced that I could not overcome, you taught me that your power was much stronger than mine. With each thing I lost, I gained more of you. With each door that closed, you opened another one. I thank you for each lesson Lord and I lay them at your feet. I put aside all the mistakes and the wrong things I said.

I give to you all I accomplished too and ask you to do with it what you please. Take the work of our hands and make something beautiful with it. Take everything Lord and prove once again that you can take something as ordinary as the dust of the earth and make something glorious out of it. Thank you Jesus. Amen.

We look forward to some victories and a mighty resurrection in the year ahead. We pray that you will be there to enjoy the journey with us.
