Happy Thursday All! I hope that you are getting a chance to really enjoy the last days of Summer. Here in Washington, D.C., we are happy to report that we all survived the strongest earthquake to hit the area in 100 years. As one who grew up in California and has experienced earthquakes before, I have to admit that this was a pretty substantial event.
Additionally, our area is preparing for the official dedication of the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial on this Sunday, August 28, which is also the 48th Anniversary of the 1963 March On Washington. Are you coming? The excitement meter is off the charts for this historic event and the city is welcoming guests and participants from near and far, including Former Atlanta Mayor and U.S. Ambassador Andrew Young, Roland Martin of CNN & TV One, Congressman John Lewis, Stevie Wonder, India Arie, Brian Williams...
