What is the judgment of God and when do we know that it is in fact His judgment? Do I personally believe in God's judgment in this day and age? Join me on Tuesday night as I teach on this and share from my heart.
Today the world looks on as Christians delight in horrendous catastrophies showing absolutely no mercy whatsoever, simply because most "Christians" have been taught that all of God's judgment will bring about great sorrow and repentance. This is not always the case. In fact the world has embraced this thinking to such a degree that any catastrophic event is labelled by insurance companies as "an act of God."
Recently as an earthquake and then tsunami hit Japan, the general attitude from the religious masses was, "it's an act of God, they deserve it." So if it's an act of God, and in fact the judgment of God, why should we pray for Japan? Surely if it was God's judgment then we should NOT pray because we'll be praying against the will of God?
I don't claim to be a theological genius but I know that this is not the way of my God. Yes, there are times when He judges but not everything catastrophic is the judgment of GodJoin me around my piano on Tuesday night as I share from my heart regarding this important subject.
