Nationwide -- BlackStudents.com, a popular online resource for African American high school and college students, has published their annual listing of 2011 scholarship opportunities. The scholarships vary in criteria, award amounts, and deadline dates, but are available from over 100 different companies, organizations, and foundations.
Combined, the scholarships amount to more than $5 million in funding for minority students. Majors that qualify include science, technology, engineering, communications, journalism, nursing, education (teaching), and more.
