Thanks for the blogtalk radio show, because I feel like this lady's story is my own when it comes to the church. I don't think that church business has interfered with my love for God, but its definitely interfered with my willingness to sit through the rubbish going on in church in the name of God.
It was good that Teri's pastor and his wife did apologize, because my pastors from the two previous churches didn't. I still struggle from time to time with the hurt, but it doesn't sting me as bad anymore.
