Q. What Is the NBBTA's Mission?
A. Mission Statement
* To establish a national forum and be the premier resource for Black businesses, organizations and affiliations
* To establish a national forum and be the premier resource for Blacks to gain information, locate, promote, support and network with Black businesses, organizations and affiliations to increase the awareness of and the encouragement of Blacks in business, entrepreneurship and elsewhere;
* To carry out, study, monitor and broadcast research and analysis on major issues affecting Blacks in business and elsewhere;
* To promote economic development in the Black community worldwide and assist in providing the resources necessary for financing small businesses
* To assist in ensuring that today's youth are educated on the successes of Blacks in business and provide workshops and seminars for them to listen and ask questions of motivational, inspirational and positive role models in the community
* To provide a resource database not only for Blacks but also for those that want to connect with Blacks in business
* To encourage the manifesto of national and international businesses, organizations and affiliations that can influence and provide opportunities for Blacks in business and elsewhere;
* To provide and publicize events, conferences, seminars, systematic studies, publications, businesses, organizations, affiliations and social events which inform, promote, support and advance the awareness and growth of Blacks in business and elsewhere;
* To make accessible a service that supports member needs such as a national/international directory, career information, education information, social information, entrepreneurial resources and information, financial resources and information, African American business information and database, Black organization information and database, Black affiliation information, newsletter, website and advertising opportunities etc.
* To serve as a resource to find out about, participate in and publicize networking opportunities and events.
