Welcome to the Connection (136 hits)

Today, June 4, 2009, is my first day as a member of blackwomenconnect.com. I find it very beneficial to the lives of black women and men alike. In addition, I feel that others can draw something from this source, even if it does not exactly cater to them. I have posted a link to Black Women Connect on my facebook profile and group just to spread the word to women I know that could make use of this website. Basically, this is the first blog I have ever written, but I believe that blogging can help to further develop my talents as a writer. In my years as a college student, I have gone through so much. I guarntee that if I had blogged about or recorded the experiences that I've had, I would be the next famous "reality" star. That being said, my friends and I have been really interested in creating an actual reality show. We know that our lives exhibit what happens in the real world of urban, inner city, black, females at predominantly white, private schools. Anyway, keep a look out for my blogs to come and thanks for reading this one and welcoming me to the black women's connection.
