Regardless of what's being said in the news, this is the time and the season to get passionate about fulfilling your purpose and living your dreams. I am working on publishing two new books. I have decided that even in the midst of tough times, my faith won't let me quit. My speaking & training calendar is filling up and I am just excited about LIFE! As black women, we have an innate ability to survive any struggle and overcome any circumstance. We know how to make a dollar stretch, find a deal, and make a deal. We can't sit back and wait for something to happen for us, we must Make it Happen!
Don't give up on your dreams! I speak to women daily who feel like life is over, NO, failure isn't failure until you've stopped trying. Keep working at it and giving it 110%. Though your beginning may be small, your latter shall greatly increase.
Find a mentor in your field. Continue to network and reach out to people. No one will know what you do until you tell them. Sell yourself!
