The Bible testifies that God advised Moses to paint lambs’ blood on the posts of the Hebrew houses so that the Angel of death went past over any house with lamb’s blood on the door posts.
This was the 10th plague that took the lives of the firstborn of the Egyptians and their animals. That morning Pharaoh ordered Moses and the children of Israel out of Egypt. The children of Israel wasted no time leaving Egypt. They took their unleavened bread that had not finished baking if you will.
Today and for the past 4000 years the Jewish people who are the descendents of the Biblical Jews celebrates this famous event exactly as it went down 4000 years ago. How would the present day Jews in the State of Israel know how to celebrate their Passover if it was not passed down to them from generation to generation going back 4000 years?
