This is an entirely new unit within our business. Devoted to applying big data to clinical trials, this high-profile team aims to be a global leader in the application of big data within the drug development industry. The combination of complex information sets and methodologies is key to accelerating our outputs and by definition the speed at which patients can access new treatments. A multi-functional team, it is also an innovation for our business, requiring entrepreneurial and independent thinking to build our capability. Unique and with a global view, this Center of Excellence is a chance to do things that have never been done before.
Global Solutions Manager – the role
This role entails managing multiple global analytics projects to support our R&D organization in achieving financial targets. You will lead cross-functional teams in the delivery of complex analytics across new opportunity development, ongoing project delivery, and new analytics innovations.
A GSM is the key individual working with the sales, proposals and project teams to understand requests, and to provide the information necessary to support our business needs.
Your typical activities might include:
Leading analytics teams to deliver insights that enhance trial strategy and execution.
Managing and defining the delivery of key analytics to support end-to-end engagements.
Working with varied teams to define requirements to support trial strategy.
Generating real-time creative solutions.
Developing project plans for analytics delivery inclusive of timelines, risks, and dependencies.
Offering mentoring and coaching in a quickly growing team that is key to delivering differentiating solutions for QuintilesIMS project teams.
Qualifications & Requirements
Our ideal candidate will have:
A Bachelor's degree with extensive relevant experience in healthcare analytics, consulting and project management.
A thorough understanding of the healthcare industry.
Strong organizational, communication and project management skills.
Proven relationship-building skills, and an active listener.
