Department Overview

Job Description

• Research, plan and design UX designs for new applications being developed at our Research Park office.

• Work as part of a collaborative team including software engineers, UX Researchers/Designers and product managers.

• Leverage industry best practices and tools to create wireframes flows, and prototypes to communicate design intent to stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong ability to articulate reasons behind decisions related to designs and solutions to stakeholders, customers, and the engineering team.

• Team-player attitude

• Ability to collaborate with the team on complex design challenges but also take ownership of designed solutions

• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

• Experience with Figma, AdobeCC, and other industry-standard wireframing tools

Basic Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in graphic design, information sciences, industrial design or other UX-related major at UIUC.

• Must be a US Citizen, permanent resident or be an MS student with work authorization (F1 Visa on CPT accepted only for masters-level students).
