Department Overview
VaaS, a “video analysis as a service” company, is a leading global provider of data and image analytics for vehicle location. The company’s image capture and analysis platform, which includes fixed and mobile license plate reader cameras driven by machine learning and artificial intelligence, provides vehicle location data to public safety and commercial customers. Acquired in January 2019, this new product offering will expand the Motorola Solutions command center software portfolio with the largest shareable database of vehicle location information that can help shorten response times and improve the speed and accuracy of investigations. The Product Management Team works to ensure that products are aligned with customer needs and requirements, taking input from customers and internal stakeholders to define requirements for software development that enhance the product's value to the customer.
Job Description
The Validation/Dispatch department reviews and confirms data prior to dispatching to the end users. The Dispatch Supervisor oversees dispatchers by training and providing the tools the team needs to be successful as well as oversee daily operations of the dispatch process while ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
Supervise and provide leadership for dispatchers to build and maintain a strong team through effective communications, hiring, training, coaching, counseling, appraising, rewarding, developing, and succession planning.
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Continually assess the service level and provide recommendations to Business Operations and Planning Manager regarding opportunities to improve operational performance.
Build and maintain a positive work environment where team members and their contributions are recognized and valued. Maintain frequent communication with all team members.
Embrace, promote and lead continuous improvement efforts.
Engage in Dispatch activities as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate, Vocational or Technical Degree required
3-5 years of experience in Customer Service and/or Leadership
Demonstrated experience leading, directing, communicating change and developing a team strongly desired.
Preferred candidates will have working knowledge of LPR Technology.
Strong skill base and comfort with technology including Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, and routing or dispatching systems.

Basic Requirements
Associate, Vocational or Technical Degree required
3-5 years of experience in Customer Service and/or Leadership
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
