Johnson & Johnson is seeking and experienced RadiantOne and LDAP Engineer to be part of our Security Engineering team, headquartered in Raritan, NJ. Johnson & Johnson is embarking on a major strategic transformation of their Identity and Access Management landscape including the adoption of enterprise tools and the establishment of an expert services discipline over the next 3 years. This position can be based out of Raritan NJ or Remote.

Remote work options may be considered on a case-by-case basis and if approved by the Company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and strategic direction across enterprise teams for Directory and Authentication Engineering using industry standards such as, LDAP/LDAPS and the RadiantOne FID\VDS product.
  • Identify, design and drive solutions to support a security centric Authentication/Authorization system that uses RadiantOne FID, deployed on prem and in AWS VPCs to meet global business requirements.
  • Provide advanced third level support for I&AM\Directory Services.
  • Manage and implement associated project or base business activities to upgrade or transition data and function to new platforms with minimal user impact.
  • Collaborate with vendors for troubleshooting purposes and proper engagement of backline support.
  • Engage with vendors on product enhancements in support of J&J business goals.

For U.S. applicants, in accordance with applicable disclosure requirements, the anticipated base pay range for this position is $93,000 to $139,000. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs.  Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.  The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year.  Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.





  • Degree level education or equivalent experience or qualification

Experience and Skills:


  • Minimum 5 years of Enterprise level Information Technology experience.
  • Minimum 3 years RadiantOne FID\VDS engineering experience.
  • Experience with LDAP solutions such as Oracle Internet Directory (OID) and Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Strong experience with virtual directory solutions, specifically RadiantLogic FID\VDS.
  • Proven record crafting technical solutions to business problems and improving processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with core infrastructure services (DNS, Wins, Firewalls, F5 Load balancers)
  • Experience with Windows 2019 Server and current Windows Operating Systems as well as Linux/Unix OS.
  • Change and incident Management experience
  • Intermediate java skillset is required
  • Demonstrated skills in scripting tools such as PowerShell or Python.
  • Familiarity with database environments, including Oracle and MS SQL Server.


  • Security certifications (CISSP, GISP etc.)
  • Strong understanding of SSL and certificates
  • Experience managing/administering hybrid environments.
  • Experience with identity lifecycle maintenance solutions such as One Identity Manager or access management solutions.
  • Experience handling highly confidential information


  • Familiarity with application security methodology.
  • Familiarity with network components and functions.
  • Familiarity with Agile Framework and Product ownership models
  • Flexibility to accommodate global working across different time zones and to provide out-of-hours advanced “Level 3 Support” during business-impacting critical incidents
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills and ability to communicate to all levels of management as well as end users
  • Creative thinking and drive for continuous improvement / adoption of new technologies / techniques
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud services a plus!
  • Up to 10% business travel expected
