Supply Partnerships Manager (Samsung Ads)

Position Summary

The Manager of Ad Partnerships works with Samsung's supply partners to access inventory for Samsung Advertisers. This role will manage the day-to-day business initiatives with supply partners focused on but not limited to leading publishers and ad exchanges. This role works alongside ad operations, financial operations, product/engineering, and business development teams to ensure each inventory source meets advertisers' goals.

Role and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain a partnership strategy that aligns to the overall approach to 3P supply
  • Oversee a collection of assigned media companies/platforms and is responsible for the success of those partnerships that drives a collective benefit across our product portfolio and client roster
  • Identify strategic opportunities to enhance partnership performance
  • Curate and execute PMP and open market programmatic strategies
  • Ensure all partnership components are tracked, maintained and executed within Samsung Ads' standards and protocol
  • Monitor performance across all supply paths to inform marketplace insights, learnings, and optimizations (Open Exchange, SSP, and Pub-Direct access points)
  • Ensure partner compliance by confirming quality, transparent, and fraud-free inventory
  • Identify and acquire new partners working closely with Business Development & Operations teams
  • Constantly analyze current business performance to identify actionable insights and revenue opportunities, including open market RTB bid performance and the exploration of programmatic direct viability
  • Collaborate and partner with internal cross-functional teams on a daily basis execute partnership strategy:
    • Work closely with Ad Ops to ensure partners are integrated properly, optimized, and bidding effectively on secured inventory
    • Work closely with DSP Product team to analyze new product releases on inventory acquisition effectiveness
    • Work with Data, Analytics, Research & Insights teams to analyze Samsung Ads' addressable marketplace and reinforce synergies across 3P supply initiatives
    • Collaborate with internal sales organization across ad sales and product marketing to ensure alignment on go-to-market strategy for 3P supply

Skills and Qualifications

Job Experience and Knowledge

  • Extensive programmatic experience in the Advertising Technology industry
  • Experience in video advertising, strong acumen in CTV is preferred
  • Experience working with or at ad exchanges
  • Solution leadership: able to shape the roadmap of features and lead discussion in relationship with Product Management teams, etc.
  • Create and maintain a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation that empowers the wider organization
  • Inspires all team members to embrace continuous learning and curiosity, role modeling this with the team through their actions
  • Ability to work effectively with partners in different cultures and geographies
  • Exceptional communication skills in multi-cultural environment
  • Flexibility to travel to meet with partners and internal customers
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Experience with data analysis in Excel and/or SQL preferred
  • Self-starter, capable of setting goals and reporting progress against them
  • Strong communication skills and a team player
  • Be confident in analyzing and acting on marketing data
  • 7 years plus experience
  • B.A. or B.S. equivalent from accredited school
