Data Integration Coordinator - Undergraduate Admissions
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, (UTK) invites applications and nominations for our Data Integration Coordinator position. We are seeking candidates who can contribute in meaningful ways to the diversity and intercultural goals of the University.
This is an on-campus position with some hybrid/remote work schedule flexibility.
Validate data integrity of Undergraduate Admissions Operations data flowing into Banner student information system. Design queries and logic tests to authenticate Admissions data and resolve differences working with the Data Management Team as an auxiliary staff member. Responsible for preventing and catching errors in Admissions data. Investigate, troubleshoot, and document data issues from Undergraduate Admissions. The position will complete job responsibilities associated with a Student Services Specialist. This position will provide reconciliation of application and orientation fees as well as enrollment deposits.
Qualifications & Requirements Required Education and Experience:
1 year of experience working with: multiple software packages, word processing, reporting tools and CRM databases or functional databases.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Collegiate CRM database experience
Experience using and querying Banner student information system
Experience in problem solving student admission issues
Experience in Undergraduate Admissions Cycle
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work quickly and accurately with attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks
Ability to prioritize, problem solve and organize tasks and follow through with assignments
Demonstrated skills in learning new software
Required skills to work with multiple software packages, excel, and reporting tools
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong working knowledge of Banner and tables and codes
