We’re seeking an experienced Lifecycle Operations Associate to help drive the lifecycle strategy at theSkimm. Reporting to the Lifecycle Marketing Manager, this role is responsible for assisting to grow theSkimm products through our owned audience, identify and develop new communication channels, create engaging and exciting audience experiences, and unlock revenue potential from our list. This is a hands-on role, where the candidate will identify areas of opportunity, work cross-departmentally on communications to the owned audience, employ best practices while maintaining the audience channels and launch exciting, new product experiences that will provide the end user

This role sits among the Growth Marketing team. We’re tasked with acquiring, engaging and retaining the audience. Specifically, this role will be among the customer marketing team tasked with increasing audience engagement and retention.
How you’ll contribute to our mission:
Execute, evaluate, and maintain several communication channels with our audience, including but not limited to, email, texting, web notifications, app notifications and more.
Develop and deploy immersive and engaging content series to the audience.
Draft effective and exciting growth copy to help drive Lifecycle growth goals.
Evaluate campaign performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
Continue to monitor and evaluate competitors to ensure theSkimm is at the forefront of innovation and new ways to engage our audience.
Maintain and manage Lifecycle inventory calendar.
Qualifications & Requirements You’re ready for this! Here’s a bit more about what we’re looking for:
Recent graduates with internship experience or 1-year of professional experience in project management, email marketing operations, or lifecycle operations.
Passion for organization and communication
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets experience a must.
Strong understanding of key social media KPIs, analysis and reporting.
Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communications and relationship-building skills (Candidates should have history working cross-functionally).
An interest in emerging media channels and opportunities
Passion for media, publishing and financial news
