Elementary School Teacher, Full-Time, 2021-2022 School Year
Southside Christian School is currently seeking an Elementary School teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. An elementary teaching degree is required. Experience with biblical integration is also essential. The Elementary School teacher must be able to manage a classroom effectively, teach with excellence, and be able to create an engaging, relational, and joy-filled learning environment with young students. The applicant must demonstrate excellence in planning, differentiated instruction, teamwork, and communication. We are seeking applicants who are creative, have a strong work ethic, can think "outside the box," and are able to work effectively as part of a team. The applicant must be able to obtain ACSI certification. All applicants must be a born-again believer in Jesus Christ and be in agreement with the philosophies, Statement of Faith, and Statement of Christian Life Commitment of Southside Christian School. Further, applicants must have a commitment to the mission, philosophy, goals, and objectives of Christian schooling as expressed by Southside Christian School demonstrated by enrolling their eligible children in Southside Christian School.
