Director of Chemical Product Regulatory

The Director of Chemical Product Regulations ensures that Agilent's Chemical and Biological products are designed, manufactured, and/or sold by Agilent, and are compliant with national, regional, and global regulations, company policies and business objectives. The ideal candidate's responsibilities will be:

* Developing and implementing programs and processes to ensure that Agilent products are safe, legal, and meet or exceed customer expectations for regulatory compliance
* Leading all aspects of and advising product regulatory activities and executes key strategic programs within assigned area of responsibility
* Acts as a change agent to help establish a customer-centered culture
* Ensures quality management system procedures associated with Chemical and Biological Product Regulatory are accurate and current
* Provides expertise in translating regulatory requirements into practical, workable plans
* In partnership with Global Trade and other functional partners, developing and implementing country-specific strategies for Agilent's Chemical/Biological Product Regulatory organizational capabilities
* Represents the company in industry associations and standards bodies and may interact with regulatory agencies
* May manage generation and review of documentation used in good manufacturing practices
* Hiring, developing and evaluating personnel to ensure the efficient operation and preparedness for future business needs
* Supports workgroups representing multiple processes and/ or regions
* Designs, manages, executes operational business plan to deliver business strategy
* Develops, executes multi-business regulatory programs as the need arises

* Bachelors in Engineering, Chemistry, Regulatory, Legal or similar relevant technical focus
* Eight to ten years People Management experience with a minimum of 5 years of global Chemical/Biological Product Regulatory experience
* Previous management and leadership skills in implementing program/organization strategies
* Experience working with country-specific regulations on a global scale

Preferred Qualifications:

* Master's Degree
* Hardware Product Regulatory experience is a plus
* Medical Device/IVD Regulatory and/or Product Development experience is a plus
* Licensing and logistics knowledge with Controlled Substances/Hazardous Materials including but not limited to animal origin materials, ozone-depleting substances, cannabis controls, explosives
* Implementation of Enterprise Compliance Software solutions
