Are you looking to be a business leader who partners and develops relationships with hospital network C-suite executives to understand their business needs and then can provide solutions that can help them realize those goals?
Then look no more, Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is looking for a dynamic sales leader to join our team! As a Health Systems Executive you will own and maintain all aspects of the business within your partnered customer accounts. Working cross functionally you will partner with the Regional Sales Manager to provide insight, direction and leadership to the regional sales and service teams on overall health of the Health System as well as their goals from a business and financial perspective. With the team you will put together an overall business strategy which will meet the needs of the hospital network and Beckman Coulter Diagnostics alike.
If you get this job, you will:
Own your overall business within your assigned Health System Hospital accounts, (pre-sale and post-sale)
Partner and develop relationships within the C-suite at the hub IDN as well as key stakeholders within the different accounts attached to the Health System (i/e Committee Members, Procurement, Medical Directors etc.)
Build a strategic YOY business plan within each Health System incorporating key value drivers for both the customer as well as Beckman Coulter which will drive YOY revenue growth and sustained partnership.
Utilize DBS tools to lead sales campaigns with the local regional teams, ensuring that each member of the team understands the needs of the whole IDN and how their actions tie into the bigger customer partnership.
Owns RFP and is responsible to compliantly sell a deal with overall positive margin expansion for the life of the customer contract.
Partner with service organization to ensure that installation, go live and post install maintenance are successful. Provides a high-level view of all activities going on within individual accounts to ensure that the customer is provided with high quality, consistent service. Course correct and escalate to leadership when needed.
Partner with local regional Area Directors and Regional Sales Managers to ensure alignment between local teams and overall Health System. Provide indirect coaching/mentoring and leadership to sales reps both formally and informally.
Expectations of Role:
Ability to understand the business and financial goals of your customer and put together a sound strategy on how Beckman Coulter is their partner of choice.
Partner with local sales teams to provide informal leadership, providing overall account strategy and ensuring accountability of the regional teams with the day to day tactics
Good understanding of hospital operating financials and healthcare economics
Strong communication and presentation skills; demonstrated ability to clearly, concisely and accurately conduct executive level presentations
Highly organized with strong program and sales management skills
Strong ability to handle an account plan weekly, work diligently within the sales cycle activities, prepare for and deliver business reviews effectively (both with customers and internally)
Must be willing to travel 50-75% of the time
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelors degree (preferably within business or sciences) and 9+ years of sales experience in a hospital or laboratory, OR Masters Degree preferred and 7+ years of sales experience in a hospital or laboratory
