Bryn Mawr College has an opening for an EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO THE PRESIDENT.
The Executive Assistant to the President provides high-level administrative support to the President of the College in managing her complex calendar, meetings, travel, correspondence and materials preparation, and interactions with the campus community and the public. A member of a four-person office team, the Executive Assistant functions in a fast-paced academic environment and manages multiple task and projects with competing priorities and deadlines. S/he is the principal point of contact with the President and the Presidentís Office for visitors and callers, and has daily contact and communication with members of the senior administrative staff. S/he works with the Chief of Staff to ensure the President has briefings and meeting materials in a timely fashion, to prioritize requests for the Presidentís calendar and action, and to address sensitive matters. The Executive Assistant makes arrangements for selected events hosted by the President and serves as a liaison to Facilities and Housekeeping on issues related to maintenance of the Presidentís House.
Qualifications & Requirements A minimum of five years of experience in administrative support required. Solid experience with MS Office and calendars and/or scheduling programs. Experience in higher education is a plus.
