We are seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join the PVSI (Payments, Virtual Solutions and Innovations), ECAPS (exchange check and payment systems support) team. The Business Systems Consultant position will support the team by performing non-programming tasks as assigned. Responsibilities will be:
Take direction from the lead team member to define tasks in conjunction with incremental and base projects.
Responsible for completing change control documentation in support of all changes, work with project managers to define requirements for projects.
Write Functional System Design documents using Project Business Requirements documents.  Â
Perform QA and UAT systems testing, track and verify that all required testing is complete and validated, log and track all testing issues to ensure they are resolved before installation. Complete required testing documentation.
Attend project meetings as the liaison between the business users and the programmers.
Maintain department documentation pertaining to systems and business operations, work to identify issues before they impact production, work to resolve and research all issues as reported by users or fellow team members and escalate issues.Â
This position entails working closely with others in a virtual environment across multiple time zones.
Provides support for routine non-technical changes and monitoring of the application support mailboxes.
Assists with routine migrations from development to production, upgrades or installations.
Updates documentation and procedures.
Understands BCP, quality, security and compliance requirements for supported areas.
Required Qualifications
1+ year of business systems analysis experience
1+ year of information technology experience
2+ years of testing or quality assurance experience
2 + years of experience with System Integration Testing (SIT)
2+ years of Microsoft office suite experience such as PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word
1+ year of deposit products experience
1+ year of PAC2000 experience
1+ year of communications experience
1+ years of experience testing end user applications and technology products
1+ years of experience drafting use cases and test scripts
2+ years of secure SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) methodologies experience
1+ year of Mainframe experience
Desired Qualifications
Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and disaster recovery procedures/solutions
Knowledge and understanding of technical design: ECM system design, implementation, and support at an enterprise level
