Job Description
Distribution Operations Manager
The Distribution Operations Manager directs and manages the day-to-day operations of one of three value streams within our fast-paced distribution warehouse. The incumbent analyzes and implements distribution strategies to support customer expectations including on time delivery, quality, productivity and various other metrics specific to appropriate functional areas. The selected candidate will identify, develop, and implement process improvement projects to achieve established goals and objectives.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Communicate values, strategies, and objectives to team.
• Identify, develop, and execute strategic projects to improve customer experience and operational efficiency and ensure these projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Manage all distribution activities with a Supervisory staff to ensure assignments and daily objectives are met on or ahead of schedule by ensuring operation is adequately staffed and properly trained.
• Ensure compliance with applicable agencies including FAA, IMDG, IATA, FDA and DOT.
• Foster a culture that utilizes Lean principles & methods to increase productivity & eliminate waste.
• Identify distribution issues or problems and develop and implement corrective actions to address root causes
• Track all Key Performance Indicators and work with sub teams and manage and improve distribution processes to ensure KPI goals are achieved.
• Enforce systems, policies, procedures, regulatory requirements and productivity standards.
• Promote and adhere to all safety requirements of the distribution center.
Qualifications & Requirements
Requirements for this role:
• Bachelor Degree with 9+ years’ experience OR Master Degree with 7+ years’ experience.
• Operations leadership with experience leading other leaders
• Continuous improvement experience (Six Sigma, LEAN, Toyota, etc.)

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
• Oracle
• CAPA
