The purpose of this Regional Maintenance Manager 2 role is to develop, direct and manage all aspects of the Critical Facilities group maintenance program for its designated facility. This role will lead and manage a Service Technician team and will be responsible for 100% availability in the assigned portfolio while remaining compliant with all Wells Fargo Critical Facility  change management. 

The key job responsibilities of this Regional Maintenance Manager 2 will be to:

  • Monitor and manage performance of assigned areas of responsibility – including services delivered by 3rd Party Resource teams and internal staff. 
  • Understand the engineering design and operation aspects of a facility’s critical environment systems and equipment.  
  • Ability to immediately recognize system design shortcomings and respond to operational and emergency situations.
  • Support and contribute to the design of operational practices as well as new improvements to the Critical Facilities platform – both in new construction/development as well as existing properties.
  • Provide operational reports that outline system short falls in meeting customer reliability requirements and expectations. 
  • Develop cost effective recommendations and business plan proposals to improve service reliability.
  • Manages related contractual agreements.
  • Provide flexibility to work at all times (7X24x365)

Available shifts are as follows:

  • 2nd shift and weekend night shift


Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of corporate property maintenance experience



Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to identify and assess issues then make sound decisions
  • Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
  • Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of data center: critical facilities systems: electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Ability to provide leadership by coaching, training, and mentoring



Other Desired Qualifications
  • 4 year technical apprenticeship program accreditation or military equivalent.
  • Demonstrate a proficiency in understanding and interpreting facility blue prints as well as electrical and mechanical single line drawings.
  • Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, Energy Management Systems, and Building Monitoring Systems
  • Ability to adapt and learn any technology related to building systems.
  • 6+ years’ experience in office building, operations center or similar property maintenance and operations with primary focus on critical building systems (MEP, building automations, life/safety, etc.), environments and infrastructure.
  • 2+ years experience in a leadership/management position in data center operations.
