Senior Accountant
The Senior Accountant performs accounting duties related to the Real Estate, Winery and Hospitality businesses at Skywalker Properties, LLC, Skywalker Vineyards and Summit Skywalker Ranch, including Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cash Management, Payroll, Inter-company, Tax, Point of Sale and other accounting projects in an efficient and accurate manner.

Work with internal departments to review and code invoices and manage invoice workflow.
Review and analyze the GL and subledgers, review and prepare journal entries and monthly accruals.
Prepare and coordinate sales & use tax and other miscellaneous tax filings.
Prepare and maintain schedules, reports and files for the annual audit and other small audits.
Maintain integration between 3rd party property management and point of sale software and the general ledger accounting system
Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and five years general accounting experience in a computerized environment.
Experience with national public accounting firm is preferred.
Required Skills / Competencies:
Working knowledge of Excel and Word.
Real Estate, winery and Hospitality industry experience a plus.
Must have strong organization, communication, and multi-task skills.
Must be solution-oriented with an ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
Must have the ability to be flexible and work around stringent banking deadlines.
Excel as a team player and strive to maximize team/department performance.
