Data & Evaluation Consultant
-Work with project directors and clients to develop and implement evaluation plans and methods that incorporate principles of community-based participatory research
-Identify appropriate process and outcome measures and evaluation methods for community action plans
-Implement evaluation activities including conducting focus groups, key informant interviews, and participant surveys
-Analyze qualitative and quantitative data
-Develop and deliver written reports, data products and presentations
-Assure work quality and client satisfaction
-Assist in developing proposals and new project ideas
Qualifications & Requirements -Master of Public Health, Health Education, Health Policy or related field
-3-5 years of experience in program monitoring and evaluation, data collection and statistical -analysis and reporting, community health program development or organizational development
-Competent with SPSS, SAS (or equivalent) and database applications
-Understanding of principles of health education, disease prevention, and health promotion

The consultant will be responsible for all aspects of design and implementation of evaluation projects with particular focus on providing technical assistance and training for state and local projects to focused on alcohol and other substance use.
