Pediatric Nutrition Sales Rep Associate - South Bend, IN

Gerber Products Company dba Nestlé Infant Nutrition is seeking an Associate Pediatric Medical Sales Representative to join its U.S. Medical Sales team in its South Bend, IN territory.

The Representative is responsible for achieving sales objectives in the territory by promoting, managing and growing the Gerber® Good Start Infant Formula portfolio and Gerber® products as part of the Gerber® Start Healthy Stay Healthy First 1000 Days Nutrition Program. The representative will obtain healthcare provider support and recommendations in hospital and office settings to grow market share. The concentrated call points include the Hospital (Birth Center, NICU, Materials Management, Pediatric Services, Dietetic Department) and Pediatric Offices

Main Purpose of Job
•The foundational responsibilities and purpose for the Medical Delegate is to generate demand through healthcare professional recommendations for assigned products in the Gerber Product Portfolio within designated customer touch points, to grow customer sales.  Results in territory are measured by coupon redemptions, territory planning (reach and frequency), and other business related activities within their objectives. 

Key Outputs:
•Generate demand through HCP recommendations in the pediatrician office, utilizing appropriate classification, targeting, and cycle planning.
•Maintain relevance in the hospital through routine touchpoints to protect and preserve current business, as well as identify and act upon opportunities for incremental business

Qualifications & Requirements

Key Experiences:

•Science or business related 4 year college degree
•Experience discussing issue with decision makers during a sale &/or physicians, dietitian, nurses, and other clinical professionals
•Minimum of 6 months of experience in sales function and/or working in a hospital institution
•Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
•Demonstrated ability to deliver results
