The Payments, Virtual Solutions, and Innovation (PVSI) team includes Operations, Consumer Credit Card, Retail Services, Consumer Deposits, the Innovation Group, Treasury Management, Merchant Services and Wells Fargo Virtual Channels and the professional services teams that partner with these businesses. PVSI's focus is on delivering the next generation of payments and deposit capabilities and advancing our digital and online offerings to design new customer experiences and products. Our guiding principles are to start with the customer, move faster, and partner effectively.

This role is responsible for the overall growth and customer satisfaction of assigned customer portfolio. The Account Manager will be tasked with meeting a yearly sales goal related to the expansion of their relationships. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Manage the implementation process of the most complex and or difficult accounts by leveraging and coordinating the various internal resources i.e. Sales Associates, Wells One Service Center, etc.
  • Provide coordination between Technical Support and the customer for training installation and general ledger interface.
  • Consult with the customers to seek out opportunities for process improvement.
  • May assist with elevated customer service issues and with the preparation and presentation of proposals for retaining existing customers


Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of account management experience, sales experience, or a combination of both

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working with invoice automation services, Commercial Card, MasterCard or Visa products with 3+ Years relevant card industry experience
  • High level of organization and time management skills, with an ability to meet deadlines while excelling in a complex sales environment
  • Familiarity with Treasury Management services, Accounts Payable processes and automation
  • Ability to identify - and influence - expansion of current client relationships

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
