The NH Center for Excellence (the Center) Program Coordinator/Manager will be responsible for program and administrative management of components of the Center’s work plan.
As related to the Center’s scope of service, the Center Program Coordinator/Manager will:
Provide exceptional technical assistance (TA),training and other consultation to funders, clients and alcohol and other drug prevention, treatment and recovery service providers;
Develop written materials including reports, guides and tools to communicate information to stakeholders and to advance best practices;
Conduct research to ensure and support best practices are used among NH’s alcohol and other drug service providers;
Participate in teams to write grant proposals;
Present a variety of information to diverse audiences;
Facilitate meetings and events; and
Communicate effectively and professionally with clients.
Some travel may be required.
Qualifications & Requirements Preference will be given to candidates who:
Are knowledgeable in relevant content areas such as AOD prevention/treatment/recovery, evaluation and/or public health systems
Have familiarity with NH’s Continuum of Care
Have excellent public speaking skills
Can demonstrate the ability to problem-solve and think critically in a fast-paced and complex environment
EDUCATION: Master’s degree in human services, social work, public health, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE: Five or more years of significantly, progressively responsible positions in alcohol and other drug and/or other public health services. Familiarity with principles of evidence-based public health approaches, technology/knowledge transfer, evaluation, systems change, and data systems relative to AOD outcomes is preferred.
