Position Specific Description
Come join a dynamic team focused on Cost Of Service and Regulatory Accounting .
Preferred Qualifications, a Bachelors in Accounting with a strong accounting work background and FERC background.
Masters and/or a CPA is preferred.
Accounting experience at a regulated utility is also preferred.
Employees in this role must possess the expertise and leadership necessary for the development of rates and the testimony and filings necessary to obtain regulatory approval for the rates.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Leads Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) related rate activities, including those requiring original concepts
• Serves as a contact with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and Federal Public Service Commission members for discussion on rate design matters
• Stays abreast of industry developments, changes, and advances in respective area of expertise
• Consults with various other business units on appropriate rate structures to achieve objectives
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
