Snack Bar Attendant (2 Positions) (6808)
The Food Services department at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville is accepting applicants for two full-time Snack Bar Attendant openings at the Sammiches/Wok/Grille and SweetE's locations. The Snack Bar Attendant prepares and serves beverages and fast-food items and performs other miscellaneous duties in a food service area with friendly and polite service.
Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:
-Preparing and serving food products.
-Taking and serving orders from customers.
-Handling requisitions through a supervisor and maintaining adequate supplies.
-Assisting in supervision of cleaning and maintenance of equipment and work area.
The Snack Bar Attendant may be assigned other related tasks in support of the department’s mission and goals.
The hours for the Sammiches/Wok/Grille position are Monday through Thursday 1:30 – 9:30 pm and Friday 11:30 am – 7:30 pm.
The hours for the SweetE's position are Monday through Friday, 11:30 am - 7:30 pm.
