We aim to select, develop and retain the best talent from all backgrounds in order to drive innovation. With this goal in mind, last year PetSmart invested $450,000 in continuous learning and professional development, focused on unconscious bias and diversity & inclusion.
We value an inclusive and caring workplace in which associates are engaged, feel safe and can be their authentic selves. We have 4 associate resource groups (ARGs) that were created to embrace differences and individuality.
Last year, PetSmart dedicated 22,000 hours of paid volunteer time to Phoenix office associates, encouraging us to engage and give back to our communities. We also focus on inspiring our business partners to embrace and share our vision.
