Marketing My Business and Obtaining Leads (SOMEHELP) Posted on 12-02-2009

Ms Shetta
Saint Petersburg, FL

Hello,  I'm Richetta,

I would like to share with you my sincere desire to market my online-based business. I've created this site to give all women access to Life Coaching in a comfortable and extremely affordable manner.  I know that I have a lot to offer portential clients, however I can't seem to get them on my site and subscribe.  Even with Free Trial offers??  If anyone can help by viewing my site and giving me your honest feedback I will be honored.  I want this more than money this is my passion, if given the oppurtunity I know I could change lives across the country.  Specifically black women.

The website is located at http://newdirection.camp8.org

Thank you for your help

Sistah Shetta, there is nothing wrong with your site, it is as perfect as you made it. Some people believe like the movie "if you build it, they will come..." that ain't always true. Trust me I know. I am already a member of a site like yours called www.BraveheartWomen.com and they offer these same services and more but you can also join this community and network your services. There aren't many women in the Braveheart community doing what you do, so you may even be able to pick up a following there. I have nothing to gain by sending you to the site but all you have to do is look and see if you can fit in. There is also www.ladieswholaunch.com they have chapters all over the country and they offer so many ways for you to promote and launch your business and will help you every step of the way. So, I hope that helps, but I may still consider joining up with you because as women we really need to help one another succeed. Other cultures are doing it, we should too. Good Luck and Prosperity.

Hi Richetta,

Your site is beautiful. It sounds like you just need more exposure so here are my three suggestions:
1) Be my guest on our radio show at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/bbbclub. It happens every Tuesday night at 9:30 pm EST. Our listeners are forward-thinking black professionals who are keenly interested in recycling black dollars. That means they want to do business with you.

2) Join the National Black Business Trade Association. You won't find any spammers here as is usually the case with most business social network sites. In fact, spammers are banned from the site! There is no cost to join. You can read my review of the site at my blog at http://bit.ly/4sXlGp.

3) Finally, I'd like to profile you on my blog, BlackSuccessSecrets.com. I believe that if we all practiced cooperative economics, we could eliminate most of the problems in our community. You can either send me the questions you'd like me to ask or I will create the questions and interview you. Just let me know.

Another suggestion is to find radio shows on blogtalkradio that your target audience listens to and request an interview. Most of these hosts need more topic ideas so this could very well be a win-win situation for both of you.

Hang in there sis. Continue exposing your business and you will find leads and make more sales.
