Calling all HBCU graduates: Boston College Law School is looking for someone with direct experience in the area of student activities and academic advising to fill its Associate Director, Academic Advising & Student Services, Law School position.
The Associate Director works with the Law School’s Assistant Dean of Academic & Student Affairs to develop a community at the law school that focuses on integrating students’ intellectual, social and spiritual lives during their time at Boston College Law School. The position works collaboratively across campus to ensure our students are supported both in and out of the classroom. The Associate Director is also the lead administrator advising law students regarding disability accommodations and dual degree programming both internally at Boston College and with partner Universities. The Associate Director is an expert on academic policies and procedures and advises students related to registration and degree audits.
Student organizations are a critical part of the law school’s community and programming. This position advises most student organization leaders and ensures a coordinated approach for event planning and community building at the law school. The Associate Director has oversight of all student organization budgets and budget requests. The position supervises the Assistant Director, Academic & Student Services Assistant, and the Graduate Assistant.
